about us

Hotel Partners Africa

As a “one stop shop” for the entire lifecycle of an owner’s hospitality journey, from the initial idea, cultivating the best concept, sourcing development funds, building the hotel, optimising the income generated at the property, through to selling the property at the end of the journey Hotel Partners Africa can help advise you, and make your journey smoother.

Hotel Partners Africa is the only hospitality consultancy working in Africa which has worked in every country on the continent. Each of the 54 countries has very different conditions and developers, hotel operators and hotel owners need advice from consultants that actually know that specific country.

This collaboration was a natural evolution of the founding partners, Trevor Ward, Mark Martinovic and David Harper, working together for many years, and the requirement of existing and future clients for a complete turn-key solution. In 2014 CVT International joined HPA to establish a representative office in Addis Ababa.

In the complex world of hotel development and management, where a client’s specific needs must be balanced with all the processes and requirements to satisfy funders, manage risk, oversee cost efficient and fit-for-purpose construction, contract negotiation with operators, asset management, valuations, sales and acquisitions, Africa has conspicuously lacked a professional, integrated complete-solutions provider with integrity, experience and a proven track record providing a seamless service throughout the lifecycle of a hotel project.

In creating this one-stop-shop, Hotel Partners Africa has established a highly proactive team to build long-standing relationships with major players, particularly branded chains, developers, fund managers and property owners – to make it happen!
